I've never purchased a jacket online before and was apprehensive about if I'd like the fit. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my Cloudveil Women's Down Patrol Jacket was the nicest fit of a jacket I've ever tried on.

This morning it was 16 degrees outside, when I was wearing the jacket and I was very comfortable while shoveling. I can't wait to try it out on the slopes this weekend. It's comfortable and has lots of cool amenities, such as the adjustable hood & sleeves, lots of pockets and snugly collar. The material and seams look and feel well made and of high quality.

Bought this jacket and less then 2 winter seasons it started dropping feathers like crazy. The sleeves wore our quickly and out came the feathers. The drawstring around the waste pulled through the fabric. Marmot told me not to wear it so tight! I didn't! Sent it back to the company and it took forever! They didn't fix the sleeve/forearm area because they said that is not covered under warranty. I did not abuse this jacket, just wore it! Will never buy a Marmot item again...

This is a great jacket. Its lightweight but incredibly warm. It is not as bulky as a typical down jacket. It has velcro adjustable sleeves and the hood is adjustable also. It has a double zipper and velcro closures. The exterior does not have that ripstop shiny fabric,so I don't look like I'm wearing my daughter's jacket. The color is a true brown, not as light as the photo. I actually just ordered one in black also because I wear it so often. I highly recommend it!

The designers put some love into this featherweight, warm jacket when they sealed the side seams with tiny down-filled quilt and double lining. It looks best when worn by itself. In severe cold, wear it under a hooded jacket. The fabric is weather coated nylon, not rip-stop, and it luminesses. Preserve the fabric coating and never wash this jacket. Clean it by brushing it lightly dry. Compress the insulation at the bottom of a suitcase, but don't bend or fold the zipper.
